Our aim is to finance higher education of youth from the villages around Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India, who have no financial means.
With your help, we will support young men and women of underprivileged families who have good potential (academic skills, responsibility) to achieve a better position in life by receiving a college/university education.
Past NGO experience has shown that it is good to give to the poorest with certain conditions. That is why our team will be in contact with the students throughout their course and observe their academic results. In case they do not work well, their scholarship might be terminated.
The project will connect the youth in the program with each other and create a feeling of togetherness and responsibility for each other and their communities.
